From Fort William take the minor road to Glen Nevis. Pass by all the buildings at the start of the glen and after half a mile or so there is a large field on the left with a track going into it. This field is used for parking and has some picnic tables near the river.

Go down the track to the river. The location for the buildings where the fair was filmed was in front of the small clump of trees near the river with another scene filmed on the stoney river bed looking up the glen.
