The Bridal Path is a gentle comedy telling the story of Ewan McEwan, an unworldly inhabitant of the island of Beag, going to the mainland in search of a wife. Based on the novel of the same name by Nigel Tranter, The Bridal Path was mainly filmed in Argyll.
