After tramping around various streets in Oban, Ewan MacEwan (Bill Travers) has his first missed meal served by Chrissie the waitress (Annette Crosbie). "Three Shillings! That is an awful lot for a meal I did not get!" exclaims Ewan. Annette is perhaps best known as Margaret Meldrew the long suffering wife of Victor Meldrew in the BBC comedy series One Foot in the Grave. She also spent some time as Janet Macpherson in the television series Doctor Finlay.
