Scenes in Cloud Atlas on the bridge over to the nuclear power station in the USA were filmed at the Clackmannanshire Bridge. The bridge crosses over the River Forth west of Edinburgh and is on the A875. Needless to say the far end of the still below is CGI.

The hills behind Edinburgh are visible on the right of the above still as is the old Kincardine Bridge to the top left of the first lamp post.
