A feel good romantic comedy regarding the possibilities and improbabilities of introducing the Atlantic Salmon and it's associated fishing to the Yemen. The Scottish scenes in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen were filmed at Ardverikie House and on the Ardverikie Estate near Laggan. The Yemen scenes were filmed in Morocco.
