Kidnapped (1971)
|
One of several film versions of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic Kidnapped, a tale of adventure and intrigue set in 18th century Scotland. When young David Balfour arrives to his uncle's bleak house to claim his inheritance his relative first tries to murder him, then has him shipped off to be sold as a slave in the colonies. Fortunately for David he strikes up a friendship with Alan Breck Stuart who helps him claim his rightful inheritance.
