| |  Plockton to Kyle of Lochalsh. Then A850 to Portree passing over the toll bridge to Skye. |  |
| | From Portree take the A855 (partially single track) towards Staffin. |
| | Continue along the A855 (single track road) passing Kilmaluag until you reach Duntulm. Go past the hotel and after a few hundred yards you will see a car park on the right with a signpost to the Castle. From here follow the path to Duntulm Castle. |
| | The location which appears in "Deferred Sentence" is right on the edge of the cliffs at the end of the castle. At the time of visiting this area was unfenced and the large drop to the beach below makes it a place to watch your feet! |
